I'M BACK! Got Possessed, and ate Watermelon with a spoon.

Random picture of the day!?
While walking around Central Park during my adventure in New York  City with my dear friend Chandler, I spotted a perfect picture opportunity!

Hello my minions who are non existent right now! Hopefully I will gain some eventually.
To anyone who randomly was like "HEY! I wanna see how this person reviews!" and have been waiting for my return that took longer then predicted I would like to apologize for being tardy.
Soo Lets get started on my first review/mini-synopsis! I decided I would do one that I had seen many a times but have never criticized it/praised it.

Title: 'The Exorcist'
Director: William Friedkin
Year: 1973
Starring: Ellen Burstyn
                  Linda Blair
                  Max von Sydow
                  Jason Miller
                  Lee J. Cobb
                 Mercedes McCambridge

'The Exorcist', a controversial/well known film of the 70's that seems to effect many still today. I remember watching it when I was younger and getting so scared that I had scratched myself on something (Still to this day have no clue on what) and freaking out thinking that a demon was trying to tell me something. If my memory serves me right I'm pretty sure it was in the shape of an "L"... Meaning if I was indeed receiving a message from a demon I'm pretty sure it was calling me a Loser if anything.
ANYWHO!
ON WITH THE REVIEW/MINI-SYNOPSIS!
The beginning showed some old man in Iraq doing an archaeological dig who later you find out is Father Merrin, the one priest experienced in exorcism seeing as it's a dying practice.  The 2nd beginning of the movie was cute, It showed the lovely relationship of the mother and daughter characters who were obviously about to go through some insanity. When the Daughter started to say all those crazy things (Crazy things = Fuck you, lick me, You know what she did? Your cunting daughter!, and shizz.) is when I think everyone was like "GTFO! That child is sooooooo possessed!" Well... that was my reaction brought on by prior knowledge. One of the controversial scenes is when the young Regan (Linda Blair), starts to masturbate with a crucifix. My first reaction was like: WTF! I don't understand! Why is she bleeding? DX  But after thinking about it and the physics/biology of it all I totally understood. She was possessed. (JOKES that was only part of the reason for all the happenings. I just didn't want to make this awkward and explain the bleeding and Sigmund Fraud theory I came up with,) Eventually it gets to the point where all the good stuff starts happening. By good stuff I mean all the amazing quotes and fun happenings when the priests come into the picture. So mom after the doctors couldn't actually truthfully explain what the hell was going on with daughter decided to seek the help of GOD! Well actually Karras, the priest first to check out the possessed girl. Now the character of Karras is deep and awesome. Not only is this man a boxer/jogger/priest/psychologist, this man has that amazing love for his mother that every girl wants. Too bad the man is a priest =_= (<--- Thats my glare face). JOKES but not actually. Anywho, ONWARDS! When Karras first comes to see Regan the demon presents itself as the devil. Karras was like Noooo, no, neooo, NAW! Nooooo. Uh, N.O! But proceeds to present the case to the church where he is granted the permission to preform an exorcism and have help from Father Merrin. Things start getting spicy when the two of them arrive. They do their whole thing with holy water and saying their Our fathers and what not. Demon girl goes nuts and starts taunting them and puking pee soup. Eventually Father Merrin goes in himself and due to his heart condition and the circumstances he has a heart attack. Karras finally comes in and sees that Father Merrin lays on the ground motionless and attempts CPR on him while Demon girl laughs creepily on the bed (Randomly one of my fav parts...). Karras enraged attacks the girl and asks the demon to come into him. Demon for some strange reason does as its told (Good demon :D) and goes into Karras. Karras then throws himself from the window and falls down those famous steps that people seem to fall down a lot. Another priest finds him (Coincidence?) and starts to read him his rites. The ordeal is over. Regan comes out not remembering the traumatic happenings and leaves Georgetown at the side of her mother to leave the dark past behind. Little do they know there's an Exorcist II: The Heretic. Dun dun. So overall the performances were great. Anyone who appreciates the arts of acting and/or horror movies will love this movie. If one hates dry movies then I wouldn't suggest this seeing as 2/3 of the movie could be considered boring if one is like "BLOOD, GUTS, AND BOOBIES!". Believe me, there are a lot of those kind of people out there. It's a pretty messed up movie and I think Is a must-see movie. Either just to say you've watched it or to get a taste of what a real horror looks like.

Haha sooo creepy.

I would also like to add that I ate an entire watermelon with a spoon while watching this. Thank's to my friend Desiree's weirdness, that silly. Don't ask me how. It just happened. I don't even think you need a metabolism to work off watermelon so don't even think "WHATTA FATTY!" or you will be put to shame by your own realization that it sounds like a delicious idea and would love to try it. Right? RIGHT!?

Anyways. I'll be back next week with a new one! Any suggestions if anyone reads this horrible example of writing?  :)
